Our School Council delivered an excellent presentation in our School Assembly today, on looking after our Mental Health & Wellbeing!

They talked about ways to stay healthy including eating a balanced diet, exercising regularly and making sure you get enough sleep.

The key messages were;

Talk to friends, family and people you trust if you are worried or need help or support

Listen to others who reach out and check that friends and family are ok

Reflect on how you are feeling by keeping a mood diary or thinking about the positive things you have done each day.

We also tried some calming meditation and relaxation techniques and pupils discussed activities that we can do to relieve stress, including listening to music and doing mindful colouring.
