Headteacher Appointment
We have all been living through uncertain times during the coronavirus pandemic. However, I want to reassure you that, during this period, we have continued to work to improve and develop Hensingham Primary School for the families we serve.
As you know; Mrs Faye Eldon, as acting Headteacher since September last year, has been ably running the school.
Following recent interviews, we are very pleased to inform you that Mrs Eldon has been appointed as permanent Headteacher at Hensingham. We know that you will join us in congratulating her on this appointment.
We are pleased to inform you that the next few months will be constructive and busy ones. You will continue to see improvements in buildings and resources, as well as the teaching and learning provided for your child. Work is planned to install new interactive technology into school; new computers are being purchased and a new curriculum is being launched in September 2020.
Faye is very much looking forward to continuing to lead the next stage of development at Hensingham and we anticipate that the school will go from strength to strength.
