On Wednesday 30th June the Friends of Hensingham held a fundraising event at the Copeland Athletics Stadium. The children completed a number of laps specific to each year group and as a whole school worked together to walk, run or hop the complete length of the coast to coast route which was 182 miles!!! The event was fantastic and the children had an amazing time taking part and cheering each class on their leg of the journey across the country, as well as having an experience of being in an athletics stadium.
