What a fabulous day Maple class have had in Year 1/2!
We started this morning by getting a holiday snap from Buttons the Bear! He needed our help to help him plan what to write in his postcard.
Then in maths we have been exploring weight and mass. We used balance scales to help compare the mass of 2 items. Year 1 weighed in cubes and bears, where Year 2 measured using 1 kilogram weights.
Our readers have been working so hard!
In RE we shared a new story called ‘The Perfect Fit’. It was a lovely story about belonging. I wonder if your child can tell you what belonging means to them when they get home?
