Welcome to our year 4 class page. Our teacher is Miss Watson and our teaching assistant is Mrs Lightfoot.

We have lots to look forward to during the Summer Term!
Our practical learning opportunities will help us to put newly developed skills into appropriate contexts, for example, we will be conducting lots of fun, educational scientific experiments to investigate the properties and relationships between solids, liquids and gases. In History, we are beginning a new topic all about the Vikings! We will be developing our historical skills, including analysing high-quality resources, to depict lots of information about the past, understanding how this has shaped the world we know today. We are becoming responsible citizens through our Geography studies into energy and sustainability and we are beginning to understand and develop empathy towards a wide range of views/beliefs in RE.
Our fundamental focus is on independence and personal well-being; we are striving to be the best that we can be by caring for our own needs and those of others to ensure we are happy and healthy and able to take control of our own learning, maximising our own potential! We can’t wait to produce lots of outstanding, high-quality work that embodies our 3Rs of respect, responsibility and resilience! 🙂
