Welcome back to a new school year!

I would like to take this time to provide you with some information for the year ahead.

PE: We will have PE on a Tuesday and a Wednesday, please can you make sure your child has a full PE kit (white t-shirt with school logo, blue shorts, black trainers/plimsolls) in school at all times. I will send them home at the end of every term. Please make sure everything is labelled.

Homework: Spellings, a weekly skills maths sheet and a topic activity will be uploaded onto Class Dojo every Monday and should be returned via Class Dojo by the start of the day Friday. They need to be using TTRS every week, reading their book every night and their weekly spellings will be based on the rule we are learning in class that week.

Uniform: All children should wear dark grey or black trousers, skirt or appropriate pinafore. Grey, black or plain red tights (no patterns), white or red polo shirt with logo, red sweatshirt or cardigan with logo, black, sensible shoes (or boots in winter) with no visible logo and white, grey or black socks. In summer, red gingham dresses and dark grey school-type shorts may be worn. Please make sure everything is labelled.

Every day in school counts, please ensure your child attends every day unless they are very poorly. Also, try to make appointments outside of school time so that they don’t miss anything. We are aiming for 100% attendance this year!

We have high expectations of behaviour, any bullying will not be tolerated and will be dealt with appropriately. We are now using house points as a reward system, your child is in a colour team (the same one as their siblings) and can earn points for hard work and following the school rules. We have been over the school rules as a class, they are also on display in the classroom. Please ensure you remind your children on how to behave when at school.
