This week some of our talented pupils and their families took part in the first ever Hensingham Primary School ‘Cook-along’!
Working with our PhunkyFoods Ambassador Harriet, and via the Teams app, they learned how to bake Festive Orange Shortbread Cookies and have lots of fun in the process … even getting into the spirit of Christmas by wearing a fantastic array of seasonal aprons, head bands and even PJs!
The full recipe for anyone who couldn’t make the event is attached below along with some photos of the fabulous (and very delicious) treats created. They make a great tasty snack to share with family and friends, a unique and special Christmas Tree decoration or even an amazing homemade gift for loved ones.
There is also a copy of the Blog we did for Phunkyfoods to help them promote our idea to other schools … it’s great to see Hensingham leading the way for innovation!
