As part of Anti-bullying week 2021, all of our pupils took part in a special writing event across the school. Based on the book ‘The Invisible Boy’, the children learned about Bullying and how to treat other pupils with respect. They created posters and videos to offer advice to others and invented ‘friendship’ super heroes too! They looked at the morals within the story and how ‘one kind word’ can make a difference to someone’s life. After exploring the features of a good letter, the children wrote letters to the characters within the story to explain why what they did was wrong and how this made Brian and Justin feel. On the final day, the children shared their work with each other in a special assembly … it was lovely to see and hear all all of the hard work and effort they had put into their work! Well done everyone 🙂
